We held our first annual Alternative Pedagogy Mini-Conference on May 2nd, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! We would like to thank all of our wonderful presenters and participants for sharing their thoughts on how to make philosophy and global thinking more accessible. Even though we wish we could have met in person, our virtual platform allowed us to capture the whole event – we hope that you enjoy 🙂

Giving Tuesday
Hello All! We encourage you to check out our GoFundMe page for our upcoming “Giving Tuesday” event (Dec. 3rd). From now until then, we’ll be accepting donations to help fund our first library package donation to a Bethesda Project location. Thus far, we’ve only been able to afford our free philosophy course services at local shelters. We would love to be able to leave a physical reference to all of the themes we discuss! Library packages cost anywhere from $520 to $1,100, so we could use all of the help we can get. Here is a link to our “Giving Tuesday” campaign:

Any extra funds we collect will go towards maintaining our virtual office. We currently pay $100/month in rental fees.
And don’t forget, if it would be more meaningful for you to directly donate a book that we need to complete our package, please email Ms. Animal at animal.lcpfoundation@gmail.com for more information!
