We held our first annual Alternative Pedagogy Mini-Conference on May 2nd, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! We would like to thank all of our wonderful presenters and participants for sharing their thoughts on how to make philosophy and global thinking more accessible. Even though we wish we could have met in person, our virtual platform allowed us to capture the whole event – we hope that you enjoy 🙂

2019 This Is Philly Philosophy Symposium
Hello All! The LCP Foundation is teaming up with the local Philadelphia Philosophy Meet-up Group to co-host a mini-conference celebrating Philly’s philosophy scene at the Good Karma Café on Pine Street, August 24th from 6 pm to 9pm! It will run like a traditional conference with paper presentations and discussion. But we are also opening up the platform to include alternative philosophical approaches, such as poetry, paintings, music, etc. Come join the fun!
Official Tax Exemption Status!
Howdy y’all! Wonderful news to share: the IRS has recognized our tax exemption status! Any donation you make to the LCP Foundation may now be deducted from your taxes! Please check out our current GoFundMe page. We’re behind on our office rent. Once we secure that money, we can move onto funding actual libraries and acquiring talent to help create courses to accompany our library packages!
